CYNICAL NEO-PRINCESSISM: Comfy Coords, Cosy Coords, & a Christmas Meet

In November I had part of a sponsored video to film, and my Metamorphose OP had arrived, so I put together a casual coord to film an unboxing (which you can watch here). I originally wanted to wear a bunny ear mob cap I had bought, as I thought that would be a cute piece of roomwear, but I discovered that it just looked awkward with my hair, so didn't end up wearing it. Obviously the slippers aren't really part of the coord haha~

Since it was just casual, I only took coord photos on my phone, I hope that's okay.

While not lolita, it is fairly lolita adjacent so I thought it was fitting to post here. Annoyingly I somehow managed to lose the outfit photos I took during the transfer from phone to computer, so I had to take screenshots of a tiktok I posted 😰

At the end of November I organised a small chill hotpot meet up. I'd recently re-dyed my hair so I wanted to wear it in my coord, so went for a red coord with my Wirehead jsk. I wanted to style it differently from the last time I wore it, and differently from the last tartan coord I wore, so went for my black and white AP blouse. It's been sat in need of mending for ages and I finally got around to mending it haha. I continued the black and white theme with the socks and address, and opted once again for my Miho Matsuda boots since it wasn't rainy, and I like that they add a touch more edge to an otherwise fairly sweet coord.

In the end I had a bit of a bunny theme too as I wanted to wear my new MAM cape~

I also thought I'd try the circle lenses I'd been gifted from Lenspoison. I was hoping they would enlarge my eyes but look somewhat natural with oldschool and not too circle-lensey but I'm not really sure. What do you think?

My comm didn't have anything planned for winter ILD, but I wanted to dress up, and I really wanted to wear my new Metamorphose OP. So I decided to try streaming a tour of my Minecraft world. It went okay but definitely could have gone much better, I didn't manage to tour the entire world so maybe I can improve in the future~

As for the coord, I decided to keep it comfy and not wear a petticoat, I think it actually looks quite nice without one due to the cut of the skirt. I do wish the elastic was tighter on the sleeves though, so they were less baggy and gave more of a puff sleeve silhouette at the top. Apologies for the bags in shot, I thought they would be crop-able ;;

Later in December I went out Christmas shopping so decided to put together a nice outfit. My inspiration was the Jane Marple bolero I'd bought a while ago but hadn't worn yet. I'm obsessed with this bolero, the crochet pattern is so cute! I think I might add an extra button or two though. I also really wanted to wear my Peace Now jacket again because it had been a while. I decided to skew it slightly punkier with my square toed boots and Bla Bla Hospital scarf~

After Christmas shopping we went to a local Ethiopian restaurant and shared this delicious vegan plate.

The weekend before christmas was my comm's christmas meet. We had afternoon tea at a venue we've been to several times before, after our previously planned venue cancelled on us because they couldn't cater to the dietary requirements despite advertising vegan & gluten free options. Thankfully ol' reliable was there for us in our moment of need so we could still have our christmas meet. The cakes were the highlight of the vegan teas imo~!

I'd planned to wear my Heart Cutout JSK for this meet for at least a month, as the colour is so fitting for the season! I did consider wearing my red hair with it, but I thought it would be a bit too on the nose and maybe a little tacky, and tbh it probably would've felt less oldschool. I decided to go for a slight crown theme, and coorded it with some black to differentiate it from the first time I wore the jumperskirt.
