Snowy Day, Pancakes & More | Coords

My first coord of the year was in January; we had a proper snow so I decided to make the most of it and put together a cute coord to take some photos. I'd recently purchased the cutest angel wing bag from Lumienous (he's called Montague), and gotten the matching brooch as a christmas gift, so I decided to go for a bit of an angel theme since I also hadn't worn my angel wing earmuffs yet this winter. I didn't want to hide my entire coord under a coat, so I planned a coord that would have lots of layers to keep me warm. 

I went for a nice walk and went to a food market to get some lunch~

In February we had a hotpot meet for lunar new year and we had a great turnout (some members not in the group pic)! This time we actually had enough people for a veggie table and a meat table rather than the usual half and half. Since hotpot can get pretty messy, I opted for a mostly black coord, utilising the Good Luck bouse I had recently got in a trade which I think is a Metamorphose replica. Since I always tend to go for an all black coord for hotpot (its practical what can I say), I changed things up  little by going for my floral Good Luck skirt. When accessorising I remembered I had a charm brooch I'd found in a charity shop that I thought would look cute.

Later that month I had another Sunday Dinner Club with my friends. My Meta Gobelin set finally arrived so of course I wanted to coord it. I decided to put together a reasonably comfy coord, although it looks pretty dressy after all. I've had this bolero for ages, but haven't worn it yet as it's actually pretty damaged and I've been trying to remove the dye bleed from the lace before I wore it, but I'm starting to get the feeling the dye bleed will not come out, so I decided I was just going to wear it as is. Luckily the damage doesn't really show up on camera!

I also got the matching bonnet and capelet, so I definitely plan on doing a more ott coord in the future~

While these FRUiTS snaps weren't direct inspiration, they were definitely in the back of my mind when I realised I needed a coat and decided to pick the khaki one you see in the above photo~

Mothers Day was in March and I had plans to get lunch with my mum so put together a coord. I just got this Angelic Pretty capelet which is a re-release of an old one, and since it's still pretty cold here I obviously wanted to wear it. One thing I love about it is just how versatile and customisable it is, it has a second layer, a fur collar, and a tie-able piece that are removeable. Although it might be a bit too busy and sweet for my taste with everything on so I'm on the fence about whether I'll keep it for long.

I decided on my tartan BTSSB jumperskirt to go with it as it's been a while since I wore it last.

Below you can see the Millefuille capelet with all its bits and the one it's based on, as you can see it's not a 1:1 remake but it's very clearly the same design. I removed a lot of the detachable parts for this coord though~

That same month I put together a coord with my Baby gobelin jumperskirt because I've only worn it once so far. Since I wore lacetop socks last time I decided to go for my crown OTKs, as well as white accessories. I also thought it'd look cute with my brown boots. I also finally got to wear my new (old) Jane Marple necklace, which happens to match the angel wing ring that broke while I was in Paris, so I need to get that fixed so I can wear them together!

At the end of the month I hosted a meet up at a new place that serves vegan pancakes, matcha, and other delicious and aesthetic foods. I wanted to wear my AP heart JSK again because I also feel like I haven't worn it in a while and it's a good time of year for it imo. I was originally going to coord it with white lacetop socks and headdress, but decided last minute the black and white socks with the white headdress might look good.

I got the winterberry crumble pancakes and a flavoured matcha latte, and I'm definitely going to have to go back because I want to try so much of the menu. We basically all ended up defeated by the pancakes lol, but they were so good! After food we went to get coord photos by the vampire rabbit door, though the weather was not the best (windy, spitting at random intervals then sunny, then proper rain, it even hailed at one point) so we ended up going into the nearby cathedral which is where we ended up getting coord pics. We did get some group photos at the vampire rabbit though~

I also finally got the zine I was making in 2024 printed and it's up for sale on the RR Memorandum website, so you should totally go buy that! It has snaps of lolitas and the contents of their bags! And who doesn't love physical lolita media?

Not a coord, but I did also trade my red Gobelin Print set for the brown, and I took some lovely pictures of them together before I sent my half of the trade. Enjoy~
